Role Overview
We have an immediate opening for a Total Rewards and Payroll Specialist to work in our Human Resources department based in our Hopkinton, MA location. This is a full-time, on-site position with the occasional need to be on-site in one of our other offices. This position will be responsible for processing payroll, managing and delivering comprehensive total rewards programs, and supporting the organization's compensation and benefits strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer and manage payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support the design, implementation, and administration of total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, recognition, and well-being initiatives.
- Conduct job evaluations and market analysis to ensure competitive pay structures.
- Oversee employee benefit programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring smooth enrollment and communication processes.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports related to payroll, benefits, and rewards programs.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to align payroll and rewards processes with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll and benefits administration.
- Drive continuous improvement in payroll and rewards processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Manage and maintain the HR Information system (HRIS) to support payroll, benefits, and compensation processes.
- Ensure accurate data entry, system updates, and troubleshooting within the HRIS.
- Generate reports and analytics from HRIS to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Serve as point of contact for HRIS-related issues, coordinating with vendors or IT for resolution.
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in payroll and/or total rewards administration.
- Certification in HR, payroll, or compensation (PHR, CPP, or CEBS) preferred.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with UKG Ready preferred.
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook).
- Residency: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Status is required for this role.
- Less than 10% travel to our other offices in Nashua, NH, Auburn, MA, Irvine, CA and Fremont, CA.
