- 200 W Peak Power
- Output Voltage Range -20 to +120 V
E-505.00 is a high performance, precision linear piezo power amplifier driver module for multilayer low voltage piezo stack actuators and transducers. It can output and sink a peak current of 2000 mA and an average current of 300 mA. E-505.00 can be operated in 2 ways:
Manual operation
The piezo driver voltage can be set by a 10-turn, DC offset potentiometer in the range of 0 to 100 Volts.
External operation
Piezo driver voltage is controlled by an analog signal applied to the BNC input ranging from -2 to +12 Volts. Multiplying by the gain factor of 10, an output voltage range of -20 to +120 Volts results. The DC offset potentiometer allows for a continuous variation of the input voltage range between -2 V to +12 V and -12 V to +2 V.
For computer-controlled operation, an DAC Interface/Display Module can be used (requires E-500/E-501 chassis). For frequency response with selected LVPZTs see graph below.
E-505.00 is not a standalone piezo driver. It requires the E-500/E-501 chassis with integrated piezo power supply to function as an amplifier. A 32-pin connector is used to interface with the E-500/E-501 chassis.
