The V-308 PIFOC® offers high precision with a minimum incremental motion of 10 nm. It also features a bidirectional repeatability of 25 nm, ensuring accurate and reliable positioning. The position measurement is directly performed on the moving platform, eliminating the influence of nonlinearity, mechanical play, and elastic deformation on the measurements.

The V-308 PIFOC® is equipped with a magnetic weight compensation system which ensures that a vertical load of up to 1 kg is held in position, even when unpowered. This feature helps maintain stability and prevents any unwanted movement, even during power loss.

The V-308 PIFOC® is designed for easy integration into various systems. With compact dimensions of 87 x 77 x 30 mm, it can be mounted on optical benches or breadboards with either metric or inch-based patterns using an adapter plate. Additionally, optional objective holders for horizontal or vertical mounting and a set of adapter rings are available, further simplifying the integration process.
