PI has a long and prosperous history of supporting cutting edge innovation by developing and supplying precision motion systems with state of the art accuracy, reliability and speed. Many applications where light is involved in the manufacturing or measuring process have benefited from the use of PI motion technology.
PI is proud to be part of an innovative new light based data storage technology developed by Microsoft and the University of Southampton under Project Silica. Following the recent successful proof of concept test we would like to congratulate everyone involved in this project and look forward to the exciting developments and what they could mean for the future of preservation.
